Who pays, and when
Goldco pays us when a reader we refer requests information and is counted as a qualified lead, and when a referred reader buys. Augusta pays us when a referred reader becomes a qualified lead under its definition. Not every information request necessarily meets a company's qualification criteria.
The other companies displayed in the catalogue do not pay us. They have information-only entries and no request buttons. We update this disclosure if the relationships change. We do not publish compensation amounts or rates.
How payment affects the catalogue
It affects the order. Goldco is our primary commercial partner and appears first. Augusta is secondary and appears second for readers considering at least its $50,000 minimum. We do not claim these positions came from an independent test of brochure contents or delivery.
Payment does not establish a fact about a company. Fees, minimums and kit descriptions still need support in the company information we checked. Missing information remains missing, and a commercial partner cannot pay to change an accurate source-backed statement.
What happens when you follow a request link
Our buttons first go to an address on this site beginning with /go/. The server selects the named company's configured destination and adds referral labels. These identify this site, the article and button placement. For Goldco, they can also include a broad arrival channel, topic group and page variant.
The labels do not contain your name, phone number or email address. The redirect does not collect those details. If you complete a form on the company's site, its own privacy policy and contact consent apply. A representative usually calls after a kit request.
A first-party session cookie stores the broad arrival category used for this referral attribution. It is described in the privacy policy. The redirect defaults to an unknown channel when the cookie is absent. The site remains readable with cookies blocked.
What we do not accept
We do not accept payment for positive reviews, invented customer stories, gifts of metal, trips or removal of accurate information. Companies do not approve our articles before publication. Requesting a kit does not buy editorial independence from the seller, and we do not present it that way.
The FTC guidance linked in the sources explains why a material commercial connection should be disclosed clearly. We place a short disclosure near the first request button and link to this page from the footer. Read the methodology for the limits of our comparison.
